Yes, another shot, just to prove I was there...

First up for the afternoon of fabulous free music were "Shout Sister" and they were truly great:

Next up were the fantastic "Stolen Sweets" from Portland OR...one of the great things about their style is that the musical accompaniment is guitar-based, which is important because the guitar of the great Eddie Lang played such a huge role in the Boswells' original recordings...and yes, of course, they rocked!:

And here we have Yazzoo Zazz from the Washington DC area...made me wish I knew how to Swing Dance:

The Stolen Sweets sitting on the steps, while their compadres from Portland (whose names escape me) mesmerized the crowd with their fab period garb and expert Swing Dancing while YazzooZazz filled the air with complete Bozzitude:

Here's our own Fearless Leader, Cynthia, being presented with the proclamation honoring Dec. 3 as "Boswell Sisters Day" from the City of New Orleans' Jill Hickson, Chief of Staff for City Council President Arnie Fielkow of the New Orleans City Council.

And last, but most certainly not least, Cynthia introduces those true Goddesses of Boz, New Orleans' own Pfister Sisters, who have been keeping the Flame of Boz alive and burning brightly for the last 28 years:

And two last shots I managed to get in at Snug Harbor (after I figured out that the "no photo" signs really didn't apply for this special occasion) of all the singers from all the groups who were still around...what a night!
